Fortnite D4VD Cup: Start date, how to participate, and reward

Epic Games has just announced the Fortnite D4VD Cup, a brand new tournament that players can take part in to get a chance at unlocking a reward themed around the popular singer-songwriter D4vd. The cup seems to be the first phase of D4vd's collaboration with Epic Games, and it will provide players with a chance to acquire a free cosmetic in Chapter 5 Season 3.

The Fortnite D4vd Cup, unlike the Fortnite Reload Cup, will be a Duos tournament that will take place in the Battle Royale mode. This means that players can only take part in it with a friend. The D4vd Cup will take place on August 11, 2024, at 5:30 am ET. The contest will span all server regions, meaning players from all over the world can take part in it.

The tournament will be available for a span of three hours in total. During this period, duos can take part in up to 10 matches to acquire points. These points will contribute to the team's standing on the leaderboard. Only a certain number of top performers in the D4vd Cup will be granted the Feel It Emote.

To learn more about the tournament, you can find it in-game in the Compete tab, which is on the top bar that features other in-game sections such as the Fortnite Item Shop.

Epic Games has not imposed many boundaries on who can participate in the D4vd Cup as. To be eligible, players need to have two-factor authentication enabled for their Fortnite account and make sure it's at level 15 or higher. Additionally, gamers don't need to worry about their Ranked mode standing, as all players with Bronze and above can play in the D4vd Cup.

Once the event goes live, you can navigate to the contest through the Discover or Compete tab. You can then select the Cup and get ready to enter a match.

With that, you are equipped with all the knowledge you need to engage in the Fortnite x D4vd collaboration cup and get a chance to earn early access to the Feel It Emote.
