Fortnite's Cipher Quests will provide players with an opportunity to earn XP and level up so they can unlock their remaining battle pass rewards for Chapter 4 Season 1. Since Chapter 4 Season 2 begins in about a week, there is not a lot of time left, and these final XP opportunities are incredibly valuable.
The Cipher challenges are encrypted, which some players may find to be a problem. Without guidance, it could be difficult to complete the three stages of this quest. Fortunately, there are people dedicated to decrypting these challenges and letting the community know what to do.
Stage 3's Cipher Quest is the latest one to arrive, but here's what each stage means and how you can complete them.

Encrypted Cipher Quests Fortnite: Stage 3 and the full list
The first stage simply tasked players with inspecting a wall at an unspecified location, which ended up being Anvil Square. There, in one of the shorter main buildings, you had to a secret staircase leading you to the place where you could interact with the said wall. For a step-by-step guide, check this article out.
The second stage was arguably even harder to understand. Fortunately, the community banded together and discovered that the challenge required Fortnite players to go to Faulty Splits.
There, you would have to visit the bowling alley and drop a spray down. Truthfully, spraying from directly above the bowling alley also completes the challenge, so it wasn't very difficult to accomplish. However, the spray did need to be on the ground so that it was "on" the top of the bowling alley.
The third stage requires players to visit somewhere chilly. Since an entire portion of the map is covered in snow, that doesn't help very much. However, it has emerged that this particular challenge requires you to head to Lonely Labs, perhaps the most remote location on the island.
Since Lonely Labs is so far away, you should just land there for convenience. The odds of a storm circle enclosing Lonely Labs in particular, allowing you to complete the challenge, are pretty slim.
At Lonely Labs, there is an orange crate on the ground with stairs behind it, roughly in the middle of the POI . Take the stairs down to a secret room. You will find computers that can be interacted with here. You should do so in order to complete the Cipher challenge.
The encrypted quests reward players with Fortnite XP, but they also have a few free items available at various completion levels. Here's how you can earn those:
- Finishing seven unencrypted Cipher Quests gives players a Keep the Peace spray.
- Finishing 15 unencrypted Cipher Quests gives the Order Up loading screen.
- Finishing 24 unencrypted Cipher Quests gives players a Deciphered emoticon.
- Finishing three encrypted Cipher Quests gives players the Circuitry wrap.
- Finishing a specific encrypted Cipher Quest gives players the Distant Roar spray.
Completing the third stage released today should be enough for you to get the Fortnite Circuitry wrap.
