The Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024 has now concluded. Tens of thousands of viewers watched the Playoffs, bearing witness to some amazing gunplay. The top 16 squads from around the world competed for a prize pool of over a million dollars, including an MVP reward of $50,000. The event presented unexpected results throughout its duration, with some fan-favorite teams getting eliminated in the initial rounds.

This tournament was quite different from what the community had expected, not featuring the classic Battle Royale and material-building that Fortnite is known for. XSET from the NA Region was dominant throughout the event, eventually securing first place and taking home a prize of $400,000. The team competed against Exceed in the Grand Finals and secured a win with a 4-2 scoreline. The match was extremely fun to watch, attracting tens of thousands of viewers across various streaming platforms.
