The Fortnite Festival Season 7 Hatsune Miku patch notes are out now. Apart from the star Vocaloid character who joins as the icon for this season, it introduces a host of additional cosmetics like Back Blings and instruments. It also presents an array of new and exciting jam tracks to enjoy in the different in-game modes.

Fortnite Festival Season 7 Hatsune Miku patch notes reveal new Outfits, Jam Tracks, and other cosmetics
You can unlock a Hatsune Miku Outfit, Instruments, and more in the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Music Pass, now with a single track of free and premium rewards — similar to the other Passes in Fortnite.

Additionally, you can still unlock free rewards by earning XP in any Fortnite experience. Purchasing the Music Pass will enable you to unlock premium rewards the same way as with free rewards.
You can purchase the Music Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks or get it through Fortnite Crew. Fortnite Festival Season 7 begins with update v33.20 on January 14 and continues until April 8, 2025.
Meet on the Main Stage in local multiplayer
The launch of Fortnite Festival Season 7 comes with a new local multiplayer feature on PlayStation and Xbox! Up to four players can play together on the same console in a local play session of Festival Main Stage. All of the players need to party up in the Lobby and then enter the Festival Main Stage together.
Each local player must be signed in with both an active Epic Games account and a platform account to use this feature. (You cannot play using platform guest accounts.) The Epic Games account players are signed into must allow T-rated experiences.
Digital Dreams can come true in the Season 7 Music Pass
As mentioned previously, the Music Pass is now a single track of free and premium rewards. This is part of the new unified progression system where you can progress all Passes in Fortnite by earning XP in any experience you want to play!
Free rewards
Hatsune Miku fans can deliver the perfect fusion of style and tone with the Shatter Sonic Guitar, the final free reward in the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Music Pass. The Pass also includes four new Jam Tracks as free rewards, including two tracks from Harmonix’s Dropmix and FUSER as well as a new Epic original. These are the songs included in the Free reward track:
- Epic Games - Cherry Cordial
- Epic Games - Dexting
- Epic Games - First Person
- Epic Games - Not Without a Fight
Players who already own the “Not Without a Fight” as a Lobby Track will receive a one-time V-Bucks grant equivalent to the amount they paid for it. Additionally, they will receive the Jam Track version as well.
As you progress through the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Music Pass, you will also be rewarded with the Paper Lantern Aura and the Shamisen Electric Bass. Additionally, the Break Emote awaits as a free reward.
Premium rewards
You can pick up the Music Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks or get it through Fortnite Crew to immediately unlock the iconic Neko Hatsune Miku Outfit., which includes a LEGO Style for LEGO experiences. At the end of the Music Pass, you will get the Neko Hatsune Miku’s Brite Hatsune Miku Style — a skin inspired by Brite Bomber and the Fortnite Battle Royale Supply Llama.
Additionally, you will receive the Neko Miku Keytar and the Neko Miku Guitar to show off the future of music in style. It also includes the Miku Brite Style of the Neko Miku Keytar as part of the cosmetic.
Apart from these cosmetics, a host of Jam Tracks will also make their way to Fortnite Festival. You can unlock the M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE ♥ SHOT! Jam Track feat. Hatsune Miku by SAWTOWNE near the end of the Pass. Apart from this, you will get the following tracks:
- Britney Spears - Work Work
- Cake - Short Skirt/Long Jacket
- Jennifer Lopez - Love Don’t Cost A Thing
It is important to note that the Music Pass rewards are not exclusive to the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Pass — these items may become purchasable in the Shop at a later date.
New Battle Stage modes in Fortnite Festival Season 7
The Battle Stage in Fortnite Festival Season 7 is getting four new modes that test your expertise on specific song parts — allowing them to compete on a more even playing field:
- Lead Only - Only the Lead and Pro Lead parts are available.
- Drums Only - Only the Drums part is available.
- Vocals Only - Only the Vocals part is available.
- Bass Only - Only the Bass and Pro Bass parts are available.
These new modes also have a scoring system that is more consistent with how song parts work on the Main Stage.
Equip instruments as Pickaxes and Back Blings
Starting with Fortnite v33.20, you can equip some purchased or earned Guitars, Basses, Keytars, Mics, and drumsticks from some Drums as a Pickaxe or Back Bling. Simply head to the Locker to see which of your Instruments can be equipped in new ways.
Mesmerizing Miku Items in the Shop
You can collect another Hatsune Miku Outfit with the Hatsune Miku Bundle, which contains:
- Hatsune Miku Outfit (with a LEGO Style)

- Miku Live Emote

- Hatsune’s Mic-u

Individually in the Shop, you can also find the “Daisy 2.0” Jam Track by Ashnikko ft. Hatsune Miku along with the “World Is Mine” Jam Track from ryo (supercell) that also features Miku.

Fortnite Festival content creation
Starting with Fortnite Festival Season 7, monetization of VOD content featuring eligible Jam Tracks will be limited to the first seven days of the Season. No takedown notifications should occur during or after the seven days.
Beyond this initial monetization period, content creators should expect to receive monetization claims from the respective rights holders.
