Fortnite First Assault Augment glitch breaks the game so much, it's almost cheating

Augments were added in at the start of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. They are a real game-changer as they allow players to obtain certain abilities over the course of the match. While that sounds great, since they work on what is called a random-number-generator mechanic (RNG), there's a lot of guesswork involved.

There's no way of knowing which Augments players can select until they appear on the selection menu. That said, for those fortunate enough to come across the First Assault Augment, they should bag it without hesitation. Thanks to the new glitch, it gives the user a distinct in-game advantage that's almost equivalent to cheating.

Yes, no doubt about it. With Chapter 4 Season 1's loot pool consisting of three different ARs, it makes sense to try and obtain the First Assault Augment. Given that this class of weapons is good for mid-range fights, most players will carry an AR in their inventory for the game's duration.

For those lucky enough to obtain the Tactical Armory and Rifle Recycle Augments alongside First Assault, they will be able to dominate mid-range engagements. However, this all depends on luck and whether or not players can obtain these three Augments in a single match.
