The Fortnite Fracture live event is only a week away. It will mark the end of Chapter 3 Season 4. After its conclusion, the game will enter an extended downtime before Chapter 4 finally begins. Naturally, players are eagerly waiting for the live event to arrive.
Fortunately, courtesy of the efforts made by dataminers, a first look at Fortnite's Fracture is now available. Because of it, players can know exactly what to expect once they enter the lobby on December 3, after Chapter 3 Season 4 ends. Besides this, Epic Games also recently released a teaser that hints at the destruction of the island.
In the Chapter 3 Season 4 trailer, The Herald was revealed as the antagonist who started spreading Chrome all across the island. Paradigm, from Reality 659, took the responsibility of saving the island from impending doom, but it seems like she will need some outside help.

Chapter 3 of Epic's Battle Royale game has been the shortest one so far. Only four seasons long, it started with The Foundation flipping the island to save Reality Zero from the wrath of the Cube Queen. Unfortunately, trouble followed The Zero Point and the group through to the Flipside, and the new island faces grave danger.
The countdown for Fracture is already underway and ends on December 3 at 4 pm ET. Players will be able to join the lobby 30 minutes before the event starts. According to the latest leaks, gamers will get to join the playlist for up to 40 minutes after Fracture begins. This means that the event is about 40 minutes long, which is more than most end-of-season inclusions.
Based on all the teasers, it seems like Reality Zero is going to crumble, leaving a massive Black Hole behind. Epic Games CCO Donald Mustard has been changing his Twitter location, with the latest one being Reality 602. Maybe, players will be traveling through different realities during the Fortnite Fracture live event.

Midas is one of the most popular characters to have ever arrived in the Battle Royale game. Unfortunately, he wasn't around for long, as he was eaten by a shark only a season after his introduction.
Several versions of Midas have arrived on the island ever since, but players still miss the original Golden King. It seems like he will finally be returning to the island since his golden touch is needed to fight off the Chrome.
Midas, however, will probably not be the only blast from the past. Leaks point towards the return of Dr. Slone as well. The anti-hero from Chapter 2 Season 8 planned to sacrifice all loopers and capture the Zero Point for the Imagined Order.
She was assumed dead after the Chapter 3 Season 2 live event. However, Epic Games has once again added her NPC files to the game, which means she is likely going to be a part of the Fortnite Fracture live event.
