A step-by-step guide on how to collect gold bars in Tainted Towers, Shiny Sound, or Cloudy Condos in Fortnite

With the Fortnite Bargain Bin Week challenges being themed around gold, one of the tasks at hand is to collect gold bars in different POIs. The locations are limited to Tainted Towers, Shiny Sound, and Cloudy Condos.

Although all three of these POIs are hot-drops, it is possible to keep a low profile and collect gold bars with ease. Upon completing the task, 20,000 experience points will be awarded.

Here's how Fortnite players can collect gold bars in Tainted Towers, Shiny Sound, or Cloudy Condos

1) Choose a landing location

Although you will be able to choose any one of these locations, Shiny Sound is the safest of the lot. While it's not exactly a hot-drop location, it sees far fewer early-game fights compared to Tainted Towers or Cloudy Condos.

However, depending on how good you are in combat, the latter two options may be better suited for the task. That said, try to land as quickly as possible to secure good loot. Landing early will also help you get into a better firing position and lockdown in the area.

If you successfully do so, opponents who were planning to land in the area may be discouraged and change their landing location. However, not all of them will be deterred from this, and some will attempt to make landfall and engage in combat.

2) Search Safes and Cash Registers to get gold bars

Depending on where you choose to land, there will be several options to choose from to obtain gold bars. Here's a breakdown for each POI:

Tainted Towers

Within the immediate vicinity of Tainted Towers, you will be able to find a total of 10 Safes, seven Cash Registers, and one Bounty Board. The best way to go about the challenge in this POI is to land on the northern tip of the area that's next to Loot Lake.

You'll be able to move from building to building, stick to the northern tip of the area, and open five Cash Registers and two Safes with ease. With a bit of luck, you'll also be able to move southward along the western edge of the POI and open another two Safes and an odd Cash Register.

Shiny Sound

If you decide to land at Shiny Sound, the best option would be to try and approach the POI from the west. The large building on the bottom left of the area contains a Safe and four Cash Registers. Searching these alone should provide 200 gold bars.

On the off chance that they don't, you should make your way to the floating structure on the northern tip of the POI. Two Cash Registers and one Safe can be found here. Once enough gold bars have been obtained, use the balloon to rotate out of the area.

Cloudy Condos

Cloudy Condos is one of the hottest drop locations in Chapter 3 Season 4, and surviving the opening moments of the match here is not an easy task. However, if you enjoy the thrill of combat, approaching the POI from the east would be the best option.

Atop the floating platform on the eastern edge, four Cash Registers and one Safe can be found within the structure. If those aren't enough, there's another structure on the northern edge that houses one Safe and Cash Register.
