Bows were brought back to the loot pool in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 to help players embrace the 'Medieval' theme. Although they aren't great weapons for beginners or the average player, sharpshooters use them to score long-range eliminations easily.
As part of the week-5 challenges, players must deal 200 damage to opponents using Bows. Since there's no mention of which kind, they are free to choose whichever they see fit. Upon completing the task, 16,000 XP will be rewarded.
A step-by-step guide on how to deal damage to opponents with Bows in Fortnite
1) Land at any hot-spot location on the map

Since the challenge requires players to deal damage to opponents using Bows, the first order of business is to land at hot-stop locations. They are marked in yellow at the start of the match and attract opponents more often than not due to the alluring loot that's available.
Hot-spot locations keep changing from one match to the next. This makes it hard to plan out for this challenge in advance. That said, players should attempt to complete the challenge if the hot-spot location falls over Shattered Slabs.
2) Look for a Bow by searching Chests, buying them from NPCs, or using Augments
Once on the ground, players will have to find a Bow. They can be obtained in a variety of ways. They can be found in Chests, bought from NPCs, and obtained by selecting specific Augments. While the latter two methods are more advanced, they improve the odds of obtaining higher tier Bows.
Nevertheless, if players get lucky during the early game, they can obtain a Bow from a normal Chest and, sometimes, floor loot. Those who land at Shattered Slabs can purchase the all-in-all Bow, better known as Unstable Bow, from Wild Card.
After every shot, the type of damage that is dealt changes, making the weapon highly unpredictable. Since certain damage-types deal AOE damage, this makes it the perfect Bow for the job.
3) Try to land direct hits to inflict maximum damage
Once a weapon has been secured, the final step of the challenge is for players to deal 200 damage to their opponents. Remember that since the challenge does not specify 'direct damage,' dealing AOE damage will suffice. That said, dealing direct damage is always better.
Depending on where the player is during the match, there should be no shortage of opponents to fight. Those who land at Shattered Slabs or The Citadel will find enough opponents to complete the challenge during the early game.
Players who have chosen quieter locations, such as Loney Labs or Slappy Shores, will have to look far and wide for opponents during the mid-game. That said, while the Bow is indeed a long-range weapon, dealing damage at mid-range would be ideal for beginners.
Nevertheless, remember to draw the Bow completely before letting the projectile fly, or it will travel a few feet barely and with severely reduced momentum. Lastly, try to use the Stink and Explosive Bow, as they offer amazing AOE damage. Even if direct hits cannot be landed, the opponent will still sustain some damage.
