Of all the NPC bosses added to the game for Fortnitemares 2022, Willow is by far the scariest. She's taller than the average character and has parkour skills that will put Nightrunners to shame. What's more, she carries around a rather large ax to hack and slash players with. Facing her in combat is terrifying.

However, there are ways to easily defeat her without breaking a sweat. While some of these methods are rather outlandish, they will get the job done. Those who manage to defeat Willow once will receive 15,000 XP by completing the "Help defeat Willow at Willow's Haunt" challenge.

3 ways to defeat Willow at Willow's Haunt in Fortnite

Since there are numerous ways to defeat Willow, readers are free to pick the method they feel is the easiest. However, there's always the possibility that things don't go according to plan.

1) Burn down Willow's Haunt and Willow

Fire inflicts a lot of damage in-game. Anyone who has had the misfortune of being caught in a blaze can attest to this statement. While Chrome Splash can be used to resist fire damage, Willow is not smart enough to jump on the bandwagon and follow suit.

With this being the case, players can collect Firefly Jars just west of Willow's Haunt and use them to set the house on fire. While the flames may not eliminate Willow outright, they will inflict substantial damage.

Once the fire dies out, Willow will be low on HP and easy enough to eliminate even with a pistol.

Another easy way to defeat Willow in Chapter 3 Season 4 is to lure her out of Willow's Haunt and shoot at her from the high ground. While giant mushrooms in the area are a good option, using a Port-A-Bunker will be better.

Alternatively, players can even use Willow's Haunt itself as a high ground. Although keep in mind that since she can parkour, she will be able to climb up. However, players will be able to get a few shots off before this happens.

With a bit of careful maneuvering and micro-rotations, players will be able to run circles around Willow with ease and defeat her. Remember to use an SMG or shotgun when using this strategy.

3) Team up with a friend and ask them to snipe her

Given that Willow is a very aggressive Fortnitemares NPC, it's always better to bring along a friend to help eliminate her. This strategy offers players multiple routes to get the job done.

For instance, one player can bait Willow out of Willow's Haunt while the other uses a sniper to land devastating headshots. If neither player is proficient with snipers, this can be done with an AR, Cobra DMR, or SMG as well.

The ultimate goal is to distract her to ensure that she's unable to inflict damage. Having two players makes this job much easier and improves the odds of eliminating her in a single match.
