Fortnite: How to eliminate an opponent while mounted

Fortnite v23.50 was released yesterday, and with it comes a plethora of quests for players to tackle. As the current season draws near its end, loopers are scrambling to finish their challenges to get free rewards and complete their Battle Pass before time runs out.

The long-awaited second part of the Geralt of Rivia quests has also been released, and players can now explore the mystery rewards that come with each quest. Loopers can get free rewards by completing these quests in their core game modes.

Battle Pass holders have exclusive access to rewards such as weapon wraps, gliders, and additional styles for the Geralt of Rivia outfit that ties in with The Witcher collaboration this season. Completing a quest from the themed questline requires players to take out opponents while mounted either on wildlife or vehicles around the island.

Fortnite Quest Guide: How to eliminate an opponent while mounted

The Geralt of Rivia Quests Part 2 has a challenge that requires players to eliminate opponents while mounted on a Dirt Bike, Boar, or Wolf. Loopers can try and finish the mission in Battle Royale, Zero Build, or Team Rumble modes for a free Inflate-A-Roach glider reward.

To efficiently complete the quest in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, follow these steps:

1) Open the Quests tab to check the number of opponents you need to eliminate

Head to the Quests tab on the Fortnite home screen and select Geralt of Rivia Page 2. Once you have clicked it, you will see that three opponents must be eliminated to complete the quest.

2) Land at the marked location to find a Dirt Bike

The ideal location, which guarantees a Dirt Bike spawn, is far southwest of Frenzy Fields, as marked on the Fortnite map above. Head to the designated spot and locate a ride that you can use to start your mission.

3) Walk closer to a bike and mount it

Once you arrive, you'll see two Dirt Bikes waiting for you near the house's stairs. Go up to either one and press the drive button to hop on. Mounting is an everyday activity when riding on a vehicle or an animal.

Alternatively, you can find Boars and Wolves on the island that you can mount to complete your quest.

4) Ride the bike and find enemies to eliminate

Next, you need to find any weapon and store it in your inventory. After that, hop on your Dirt Bike and start searching for enemies. When you spot one, equip a weapon while riding the bike and shoot at them. Stop the bike if you want to hit your target, or you might miss it if you're driving too fast.

Do not exit the bike, as your quest progress will stop if you eliminate your opponent while on foot. Find three opponents and eliminate them quickly to complete the quest and avail the free reward on the game's home screen.

When you're on the bike, don't get off. Keep going and take out three opponents to finish the quest. When you do, you'll be rewarded with a free reward on the Fortnite home screen.
