Fortnite: How to eliminate opponents with the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle

The Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle is the latest AR to get added to the loot pool in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. Unlike other ARs in the game, this one is silent. While firing the weapon does produce a faint sound, it's inaudible for the most part.

As part of the weekly challenge, players must eliminate five opponents during a match using a Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle. While not everyone is a fan of the weapon, the XP gained by completing the task at hand is worth the effort.

2 ways to eliminate opponents with the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle in Fortnite

There are two ways to complete this challenge. One involves eliminating the opponent outright using the weapon, while the second is more of an indirect approach that involves downing an opponent before eliminating them.

1) Directly eliminating opponents using the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle

This method is standard and will likely be preferred by most players. The goal is simple: find an opponent and shoot them until they are eliminated using the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle. This can be done in solo, duos, trios, and squad modes.

2) Indirectly eliminating opponents using the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle

Rather than outright eliminating an opponent using the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle, players can knock them down first. This method will come in handy if the opponent is too close, which would make using the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle difficult.

Common sense will dictate that switching to a close-range weapon, like the Havoc Pump Shotgun or Combat Shotgun, is a smarter decision. Once an opponent has been knocked down, players can then use the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle to easily eliminate them. This method can only work in duos, trios, and squad modes.

Where to find/obtain the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

There are a few ways to find and/or obtain the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle in Chapter 4 Season 2. The easiest method would be to search for chests or keep an eye out for the weapon laying on the ground.

The next best alternative is finding 'Keys' and opening a Holo-Chest to acquire the weapon. While this method is a bit more tasking, weapons obtained from Holo-Chests are usually of high rarity, which will give the user an edge in combat.

Lastly, Highcard's Havoc Suppressed Rifle (Mythic) can also be obtained by defeating the NPC known as Highcard. However, since he and his lackeys don't spawn at the start of the game, players will have to wait until he 'rifts' onto the island before engaging him in battle and claiming the loot.
