Fortnite: How to get Ready to Fracture tag in-game

Fortnite Chapter 3 is nearing its end with the upcoming "Fracture" event that will mark the finale of the current season 4 as well as the entire chapter that started on The Seven's flipped island. The Nothing closes in on Zero Point and The Herald's takeover of the island with Chrome is almost complete.

Now that the island is in danger and Reality Zero needs to be saved at any cost, loopers will need all hands on deck and use whatever they have at their disposal to protect the reality from a total collapse during the live event. As the event draws near, several fan theories and speculations are on the rise and players hope for this one to be the biggest event in the game's history.

The runtime of the event is speculated to be around 40 minutes and as stated by Epic, it will only be a one-time event that cannot be played or experienced again. Post this revelation, the player community is more than ready to jump into the live event and play their part in saving Reality Zero.

However, Epic has already started giving tools to loopers to show their excitement and readiness for the event, which oddly comes in the form of an in-game social tag called Ready To Fracture. Here's how you can use it on your profile.

Three steps to use Ready To Fracture social tag ahead of Fortnite Chapter 3 finale event

In the most recent v22.40 update, alongside the Octane and Let Them Know quests, a social tag was added to the game files that went unseen by most players. However, Epic sneakily teased it into the game without making an official statement about the same.

The Ready To Fracture social tag arrives in-game ahead of the Chapter 3 finale event as players will be looking for other individuals to party with and experience the epic finale with them. As the tag is readily available for all players for free in the game, here's how you can apply it to your Fortnite profile:

1) Head to your Profile Options

Click on the top left icon of your screen denoted by three horizontal lines and open the game's left pane menu. Upon doing this, click on the image of your avatar. As soon as you do that, you will be able to see the three social tags you have opted for on your profile. Now, click on any one of the tags to head over to the Social Tag customization menu.

2) Navigate to 'Vibes' social tag category

Upon reaching the social tags menu, click on the Llama-shaped icon that will take you to the 'Vibes' category. There, you will be able to see various tags meant for describing your style of play in the game to other gamers. You will be able to see the 'ReadytoFracture' tab right next to the Fortnitemares tag under the Vibes column.

3) Apply 'ReadytoFracture' tag to your profile

You can now either remove a tag from your profile by right-clicking on it or simply clicking on the tag you want to remove. Then, click on a new tag you would like to apply, in this case, 'ReadytoFracture.' Once done, you will be able to see a checkmark next to it and the tag will be successfully applied to your profile.

You have now successfully applied the latest Fortnite tag to your profile that will get you ready for the "Fracture" live event that hits the game on December 3, at 4 pm ET.
