Fortnite: How to honk a vehicle's horn at Grim Gables & Knowby Cabin

Fortnitemares 2022 is slowly coming to a close, but there are a few more challenges to complete along the way. Given that each one provides 15,000 XP, completing them all will help players complete their Battle Pass. Today's (October 28) challenge is rather easy to complete.

Epic Games wants players to honk a vehicle's horn at Grim Gables & Knowby Cabin. Although the locations are not close to each other, using a vehicle to travel between them shouldn't be an issue, given that there's a road network.

How to honk a vehicle's horn at Grim Gables & Knowby Cabin in Fortnite - A step-by-step guide

1) Land east of Grim Gables at Sunflower's Saplings

To start this challenge, players should land east of Grim Gables at a landmark called Sunflower's Saplings. The location has eight chests within its vicinity and plenty of floor loot. It's ideal for a solo player.

2) Secure basic supplies and Chrome Splash

In the process of looting, try to secure as much Chrome Splash as possible. These will come in handy later on.

Rather than standing in one place and using a repair torch to fix the vehicle if it gets damaged, Chrome Splash can be used to regenerate its HP on the move.

3) Secure a vehicle and look for a gas can

Once supplies have been secured, look for a Prevalent-class car and drive northwest towards a tiny structure located near the riverbank.

A gas can will be found within. Pick it up, refuel the vehicle, use a Chrome Splash, and drive straight across the river until the road appears.

4) Drive to Grim Gables

Since there's no proper road network to reach Grim Gables, drive straight across the road and up the hill to reach the destination.

Once there, don't stop the car. Keep driving near the POI while honking the horn and exit south of the POI to get back onto the main road.

5) Follow this route and drive to Knowby Cabin

Although there are several routes that can be taken to reach Knowby Cabin, this will be the shortest one possible. It sticks to proper roads, which will ensure that the vehicle can travel at its maximum possible speed.

• Head south from Grim Gables until a road appears.
• Turn west, cross the bridge, and follow the road until Rave Cave comes into view.
• From the foot of the hill of the POI, drive south and look for a fork in the road.
• When the fork appears, break away westward and follow the road until the bridge ends.
• Just as the bridge ends, turn south and drive straight toward Knowby Cabin.
• Honk the horn.
