When it comes to hot-drop locations in Fortnite, Tilted Towers is at the top of the list. It's one of the most iconic POIs in-game and is so popular that content creators have even created songs about it. That said, while it's no doubt fun to land at Tilted, it's far from safe.

Most who land at this POI barely make it out alive, with the majority not making it out at all. Due to the area's verticality, being shot at from high ground is extremely common. Without cover to be found below, being eliminated is all but guaranteed.

Epic Games wants players to land at Tilted Towers and finish rank 10 or better. If the challenge doesn't seem tough enough already, players will have to do it twice in two separate matches to complete it. However, given the 20,000 XP reward, the risk will be worth taking.

How to land at Tilted Towers and finish rank 10 or better in Fortnite - A step-by-step guide

1) Land on the outskirts of Tilted Towers

There's no need to go gung-ho in Fortnite and land in the center of the POI. In fact, there's no need to land even in the inner circle of the POI. With the amount of cross-fire that will occur seconds after landing, being shot at and eliminated is a certainty

To play it safe (and smart), players should land on the outskirts of the POI or in secluded regions at the edge of the location. Since the bulk of the fighting will be focused around the center and inner regions, these places will be safe. If nothing else, players won't be shot-up upon landing.

2) Sneak about to find basic loot

With a huge number of opponents in Tilted Towers, walking or running about generating noise is a bad idea. It's better to sneak about and look for loot. Keeping a low profile will be beneficial.

That said, at times, walking or running will become necessary. In such cases, don't do so for prolonged periods in the open. You should only run within structures or from one building to another if needed. In this manner, collect enough basic supplies and prepare for the next stage of the challenge.

3) Find a vehicle or use The Flairship to rotate and survive until the top-10 rank

The third and final stage of the challenge is the hardest. Players will have to rotate out of Tilted Towers to survive to the top-10 spot. While staying at the POI is also an option, given the amount of fighting, it might be too sweaty for the average player.

With that said, getting out is the best call. To do so, there are several options available. Players can sneakily move out of the POI on foot or use a vehicle to drive away swiftly. However, since players will be exposed on foot and become a large moving target while in a vehicle, gliding is the best option.

Players can use the giant fans atop The Flairship to launch and redeploy in the air. They can then glide to safety and rotate to quieter POIs in and around the area. Once in a safe location, play passively to outlast opponents and reach the top 10.
