The v22.40 update to Fortnite, which will be the final one for Chapter 3 Season 4, arrived today. Since it's the last update of both this season and chapter, it is a fairly sizeable one. Plenty of new additions have arrived, but perhaps the best one is the iconic car from Rocket League.
The Octane has instantly become one of the most fun vehicles to drive for many reasons. It has a lot of unique capabilities, but it is also the subject of a few challenges.
Octane Quests have been released for the crossover with Rocket League, and one of them involves doing a 720 front of backflip. Here's how to do it.

How to do stunts with an Octane in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
Step 1: Load into a Fortnite match
For this challenge, you will need to be in a match. This can be either Zero Build or Battle Royale as the Octane vehicle is active in both. It is not present in Competitive right now, though, as it is too overpowered for it.
The vast majority of the Octane Quests are set in Creative mode and make use of various new maps. That is not the case for this one, though, and it will need to be completed in standard modes.
It can be done in Solo, Duos, Trios or Squads as it is not necessarily dependent on any number of teammates.
Step 2: Find an Octane vehicle
The Octane can spawn in a few places in Fortnite, but mostly in major POIs. You can find the brand new car in these locations:
- Chonker's Speedway
- Shiny Sound
- Chromejam Junction
- Cloudy Condos
- Tainted Towers (formerly Tilted Towers)
- Greasy Grove
However, these are not the only places it can be found in. There is another one to the west of Greasy Grove, and others to both the west and the east of the Herald's Sanctum.
It is important to get this car and drive away as soon as possible since many will be fighting to use it. Additionally, it's best to fly straight to the car and land there since the odds of it remaining there well after people have landed are slim.
Step 3: Find this ramp
This ramp will make things very easy for you. It puts your vehicle in the air, which means you don't have to build up to get enough verticality to complete the challenge. It is located near the river in between Reality Tree and Greasy Grove.
Step 4: Boost off the ramp
Drive all the way back and then go forward and boost into the air. You should be able to get back far enough to build up a good amount of speed.
Step 5: Hold down the directional controls
In the air, hold down the directional controls so that your car flips backward. If you have enough air, you should be able to do more than enough rotations to qualify for a 720 backflip.
