Reality Saplings were first added to Fortnite Battle Royale in Chapter 3 Season 3. They were originally found at the Reality Tree, but as the tree kept expanding all over the map, they were soon found all over the island.

There are many roots of the tree on the current map as well, and you will have to visit them to complete the latest weekly challenge. Saplings are great for loot as they can reward you with Mythic weapons and consumables.

To pick fruit from Reality Saplings, here's what you need to do:

1) Find a Reality Tree branch

There are many Reality Tree branches scattered all over the island. They are mostly found in Chrome-affected zones, such as Chromejam Junction and Flutter Barn.

The first way to complete the new challenge is to visit one of these zones, locate a Reality Tree branch, and destroy a reality pod. By destroying a pod, you will gain Reality Seeds, which you need to plant on the ground.

The easiest way to destroy a pod is by using your pickaxe. Once you destroy it, you will gain a low-gravity effect and will have to grab Reality Seeds.

To pick fruit from Reality Saplings, you will first have to plant Reality Seeds. You simply need to pick them up after destroying a pod, select them from your inventory, and throw them on the ground.

You cannot plant seeds in some places, so make sure you see a blue hologram before planting them.

3) Pick fruit from Reality Saplings

Once you plant seeds, a Reality Sapling will grow, and you will be able to pick fruit from it. Please remember that you will not always be able to pick fruit immediately. If you see weeds next to your sapling, you must remove them first and allow the sapling to grow.

Eventually, your Reality Sapling will have fruit on it. Fruit comes in different rarities, from Uncommon (Green) to Mythic (Yellow). You must approach the fruit and interact with it by pressing the action button.
