The latest Fortnite leak shows what the first-person mode will look like in Chapter 4. While it is still in development, Epic Games has accidentally enabled it for some players after the v23.30 patch.
This is one of the most exciting features that will be released in Fortnite Battle Royale. Considering that many players are looking forward to it, there is no doubt that the first-person mode will have a positive effect on the community and make the video game even more popular.
As the video shows, the first-person mode looks very interesting. The player who was affected by the glitch was using SCAR, which is one of the most popular weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale.

At the start of the video, the player is seen in third-person mode, gliding on Nimbus Cloud. However, as soon as the player lands, the camera gets closer, but is still in third-person mode.
When the player aims down with the weapon, the game gives them a first-person mode, which looks very interesting. Instead of using the on-screen crosshairs to aim, the player used the iron sights on the weapon.
Fortnite leak shows an early version of the first-person mode
In June 2022, HYPEX claimed that Epic Games was working on a first-person mode in Fortnite Battle Royale. Considering that he is the most reputable Fortnite leaker, many players believed him and thought that Epic would release this mode in Chapter 4.
While Epic hasn't released the feature yet, it appears it hasn't been scrapped. As per the new Fortnite leaks, the video game developer has updated it with the v23.30 update, meaning it's still in development.
Some Fortnite players have been affected by the glitch, which switches their perspective to first-person mode, as seen in the video above.
When will first-person mode come to Fortnite?
While there have been several leaks regarding the first-person mode in Fortnite Battle Royale, none of them revealed when the feature would be released; however, the positive thing is that Epic Games hasn't scrapped it.
Considering that Chapter 4 Season 2 will be released in early March, there is a chance that Epic is saving the feature for it. Additionally, the developers have postponed the Creative 2.0 mode for March, and they may be released together.
First-person will be fun in Zero Build modes, but it will be interesting to see if it will be enabled in classic modes with building.
