According to the latest Fortnite leaks, popular singer Mariah Carey is soon to have a mini-live event in Chapter 6 Season 1, likely on the occasion of Christmas. Fortnite is known for its surprising collaborations and festive events, and this one is likely to excite both veterans and newcomers. The recent Juice WRLD event was very successful, recording the highest number of live concurrent players.
Considering this, the announcement of yet another live event this early could rake in gamers and viewers again. Mariah Carey mini live event could happen, as per Fortnite leaks
The leaker has provided an in-depth explanation of what this live event could look like and has also credited @SpushFNBR for the help, possibly in finding the in-game files.
As the caption suggests, Mariah Carey will be in an ice block for three days, which will begin defrosting eventually, probably until Christmas. After the ice block gets fully defrosted, there will reportedly be some fireworks show that will finally disclose the Mariah Carey NPC.
According to the Fortnite leak, this NPC will give gifts to the players upon interaction. The gifts probably refer to the free items players will get during the yearly Winterfest, which is arriving with the v33.11 update in Chapter 6 Season 1 this year.
Fortnite x Mariah Carey: All items rumored to come so far
As mentioned previously, the Mariah Carey skin collaboration has already been leaked. Alongside the main Outfit, the players are also likely to get a free Emote based on the popular song All I Want in Christmas is You by Mariah Carey, which will be automatically added to the player's inventory after attending her mini-live event.
The Mariah Carey skin is seemingly set to arrive during the Winterfest 2024 event. The Fortnite Winterfest 2024 will start on December 20, 2024, and end on January 7, 2025. Do note that all the free items during the Winterfest event every year are exclusive and they are not available as purchasable stuff on the Fortnite Item Shop at a later date.
