With the Mercenaries map providing an incredibly refined and detailed MMO experience, on top of being created by an established creator, the map should find its way to the Discover menu soon. However, to skip browsing through hundreds of Creative maps, you can search for the map yourself.

You can do this by heading to the search bar in the top left corner of the main Fortnite Battle Royale lobby. You will spot a search bar prompting you to enter the designated UEFN map code for the Fortnite Mercenaries map: 0315-9684-1124. You can also search for the map by name.

Once you've located the map, hit select. This will change your current game mode to the Fortnite Mercenaries map. You can now gear up to join a public match and start your MMO journey.

How to play

After loading into a match on the Fortnite Mercenaries map, you will spawn on a platform with various options of classes laid out in front of you. Each class will provide you with different weapons and skills. You can opt for any of these classes just by walking through the corresponding door.

Take the chopper in front of you to get to the open world where the main gameplay takes place. In the open world, you can find loot to collect and gather for later use while also battling AI-controlled enemies that add a level of engagement to the experience.
