The Fortnite OG Community Cup is an exciting opportunity for duos to showcase their skills and earn exclusive rewards in Chapter 6 Season 1. This one-day event offers two formats: Battle Royale and Zero Build, and will be played across all competitive Fortnite regions. All players have an equal opportunity to win free cosmetic items during this event.

Start date

The event is scheduled for January 19, 2025, and will replace the standard OG Cups for this week in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Players must compete in up to 10 matches within a three-hour window to climb their regional leaderboard. They can check the in-game “Compete” tab for region-specific start times.

How to participate

The Fortnite OG Community Cup is open for those who meet the following criteria:

Age Requirement: Players must be at least 13 years old or have signed parental consent.
Account Level: Your Epic Games account must be Level 50 or above, which can be verified in the Career tab.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Ensure that two-factor is enabled on your Epic Games account.
Good Standing: Accounts must not have any active bans or violations.

If you meet the abovementioned criteria, you may form a duo with another eligible player and head on to the Compete tab. Navigate to the Fortnite OG Community Cup and click on event details for timing and team registration.

Rewards

There is no cash prize in this event. However, the Fortnite OG Community Cup has many free rewards based on the duo's performance:

8 Points: Serge’s Surge Wrap
40 Points: Surging Edge Back Bling
Top regional placements: Serge Outfit and Surging Edge Pickaxe
