Fortnite OG Ranked official release date (Battle Royale and Zero Build) will launch on Monday, December 16, 2024, for players in the Eastern Time Zone. It will be an early morning to mid-day release for most time zones. However, some will only get to play Fortnite OG Ranked late at night, while others will have to wait till past midnight.

Will Fortnite OG Ranked be permanent?
Based on the information at hand, OG Ranked will stick around for the foreseeable future. The timeline will come to a close in Chapter 1 Season X sometime towards the end of 2025, but that's a long time from now. Epic Games will provide an update about what happens when the storyline comes to an end. In all probability, it will be restarted again from Chapter 1 Season 1.
