The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean is on the way and players are beyond excited. With this exciting crossover of Fortnite with one of the most popular movie franchises ever, players are expecting a lot of new content, skins, and other items inspired by the iconic characters and theme of the movie. Players also anticipate in-game events and challenges.

Here's everything we know about the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration so far.

The Cursed Sails Pass and Skin Bundle

This collaboration will have a pass and a skin bundle as well. The Cursed Sails Pass, costing 1000 V-bucks will include the iconic skin of Captain Jack Sparrow. As suggested by the leaks, these are the outfits to be released in this collaboration:

  • Captain Jack Sparrow (Part of the Cursed Sails Pass)
  • Davy Jones
  • Hector Barbossa
  • Elizabeth Swann

Davy Jones, Hector Barbossa, and Elizabeth Swann will reportedly be part of the Pirates of the Caribbean skin bundle that will also include three Pickaxes, an Emote, and two Back Blings.

New and returning in-game weapons

Various old items are returning to the game, especially from the pirate-themed Chapter 1 Season 8. Based on the information at hand, these are the returning items in the Chapter 5 Season 3 loot pool:

  • Pirate Cannon
  • Flint-knock Pistol
  • Buried Treasure

A new Mythic item named "Ship in a Bottle" is also being added to the game as part of the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration. As per the leaks, this item spawns a large pirate ship that lasts for one minute. It does ongoing damage to any item or player that comes in the way. It is not confirmed whether the ship can be damaged. The damage numbers of this item are very high:

  • 50 damage to players.
  • 5000 damage to builds.
  • 150 damage to vehicles.

When will the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration go live

As mentioned, the Cursed Sails Pass was released before the intended date by mistake, resulting in Fortnite officially announcing the actual release date for the event. The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration is expected to arrive on July 19, 2024, in the middle of this season.

From the Metallica in-game concert to the release of Fortnite Reload game mode, Chapter 5 Season 3, has received overwhelming positive reception from the community so far.
