The new Fortnite Battle Royale map looks amazing. Epic Games has added multiple new features with Chapter 4, including the edges of the map. Unfortunately, players aren't allowed to reach these edges as they are blocked by an invisible wall.
Many have tried to reach the edge and jump off the map, but to no avail. Despite the invisible wall, one player has found a way to reach the edge of the map and discover what happens there.
This article will reveal some interesting details regarding the Chapter 4 map and its edges. We'll also look at the video recorded by the player after reaching the edges.

Fortnite player reaches the edge of the Chapter 4 map and reveals the mystery
The biggest mystery of the current Fortnite Battle Royale season has been revealed by GKI, a popular YouTuber. The content creator is well known for using glitches and sharing them with the community.
A few days after the new map was released, the YouTuber decided to glitch beyond the invisible wall to see what happens at the edge of the Fortnite Chapter 4 map.
As you can see in the video above, the player didn't fall off the map, which is quite unfortunate.
Once the player reached the edge, nothing happened. He just kept swimming, even though he passed the waterfall located on the map's edge.
Unfortunately, Epic Games probably knew someone was going to glitch beyond the invisible wall. Due to this, the development team simply made another barrier, but this time on the ground.
It is possible to go all the way beyond the Fortnite map and even reach small floating islands. Unfortunately, nothing significant happens as the entire area is filled with invisible water.
Furthermore, there is no collision between players and the pieces of the floating islands. As the video above shows, one simply phases through any object they swim into.
Is Fortnite Chapter 4 map smaller than the previous maps?
Many believe the current Fortnite Battle Royale map is much smaller than the previous ones. Several content creators have tried to compare these maps and concluded that the Chapter 4 iteration is much smaller.
However, this is not the case. Their comparison methods are flawed, so the conclusion must be revisited. The video below shows that the maps are almost the same size and that the difference between them is not significant.
The Fortnite Chapter 4 map looks smaller mostly because of its shape. Additionally, it has edges, which is why it doesn't feel as infinite as the previous maps that were available in the video game.
There is a good chance that Epic Games will expand the map throughout the first season. The Zero Point formed the island by pulling different pieces together. Due to this, we expect the energy source to keep doing this and pull the floating pieces together to expand the island.
