Another round of Weekly Quests has finally hit Fortnite today, and it promises plenty of competitive action in exchange for a significant Battle Pass XP. The community consists of two types of players. Some are ever-grinding, competitive loopers who play seriously for eliminations and wins, leaving the quests behind.
The other is quest hunters who aim to complete every exploration to unlock the Battle Pass faster and gain free rewards associated with a particular hunt. For them, weekly challenges are the holy grail as completing a single quest grants 20K XP, and completing milestones can grant over 50K XP additionally.
This week, a relatively more straightforward yet tricky quest is waiting for players to complete to gain the sweet reward of XP for their grind. The quest requires players to Search for Five Chrome Chests in Flutter Barn or Shiny Sound. This means that players need to visit either of the locations and look for five silver chromed chests and open them.

Where to find Chrome Chests at Shiny Sound in Fortnite Season 4?
To find Chrome Chests in Shiny Sound, players need to locate the POI on the north side of the map and mark it. However, to find the exact location of the Chrome Chests, follow these steps:
1) Locate Shiny Sound on the map
Shiny Sound POI (previously known as Sleepy Sound) is located in the northernmost part of Fortnite Island. It is divided into two different parts, separated by a water body. The POI consists of two entirely different biomes, one wholly taken over by Chrome and another with airborne buildings supported by hot air balloons. To search Chrome Chests, you need to land on the part that is chrome-ified.
2) Go to the Chromed location
Land at the location marked on the map above to locate the Chromed buildings and trees. As you move across that biome, you can phase through buildings and look for glowing chest icons in your visual sound effects. Follow the sound of chests and move towards it.
3) Search the Chrome Chests
Look for Chromed buildings and structures. These structures mostly contain chests that are all chromed that will grant you Evochrome weapons and some consumables. This location grants you a guaranteed chrome chest loot and will help you complete the required challenge.
Where to find Chrome Chests at Flutter Barn in Fortnite Season 4?
Flutter Barn POI is located on the south side of the map and used to be called Butter Barn before being chrome-ified. The POI underwent Neo-Tilted, and Coliseum was revamped in the previous season and kept changing its appearance from time to time. Now it has finally taken form in the form of Neo Tilted and is elevated off the ground through hot air balloons to protect itself from Chrome.
1) Land at Flutter Barn, but on the ground
Flutter Barn can be located on the desert biome of the Fortnite Season 4 map and is on the south side of the map. It is located directly north of Synapse Station, Chonker's Speedway, and southeast of Greasy Grove. However, to locate the Chrome Chests, you must land on the ground instead of landing on the buildings hovering on the POI.
2) Search for Chrome Chests on the ground
When you land on Flutter Barn, you will notice that the ground has been taken over by Chrome and tower-like hexagon structures rising from the ground. This is why the buildings have taken a higher ground, and you will find ascenders to reach them.
However, once you land on the ground, you can quickly locate Chrome Chests near these chromed structures on the ground that can grant you Evochrome weapon loot with consumables. This way, you can complete your quest at Flutter Barn.
How to turn a regular loot chest into a Chrome Chest in Fortnite Season 4?
If you land on any of the POIs above and fail to find a single Chrome Chest, there's another way you can complete the Fortnite quest. Alternatively, you can finish your quest by turning a regular chest into a Chrome Chest.
All you need is a Chrome Splash that you can quickly get by breaking down trees or chromed structures with your pickaxe. Doing so will drop multiple vessels of Chrome Splash for you to carry in your inventory.
Simply throw the Chrome Splash on any regular loot chest to turn it into a Chrome Chest. Once done, open the chest to complete your weekly quest. This is a somewhat more straightforward yet tricky way to complete the quest that can save you some time from endlessly searching for a chest in either Fortnite POIs.
