Fortnite The Hood is a GTA-inspired open-world role-playing map/mode. It has seen a very positive reception in the community and always has thousands of people playing it. Designed by @funteam, it was released on April 19, 2024, but only started to gain massive popularity after a major content update on July 12, 2024.

UEFN map code
The code to access Fortnite The Hood is 7314-4269-5911. The username of the creator is "funteam," which can be seen right below the map's name.
To access the map, follow this process:
- Navigate to the Search icon in the top-left corner of the main Battle Royale lobby and paste the map code in the bar. Make sure to add the dashes.
- After pasting the code, hit Select in the bottom-left corner and wait for the game to load.
It should be noted that you can queue in both private and public lobbies for this map, and up to 30 players can play it together. However, it is strongly recommended to not play this mode if it has more than 16 people because of performance issues.
How to play
This map is a mini version of Grand Theft Auto Online, featuring tens of different activities and minigames. After entering it, players can visit the town hall and choose one of the following roles to be displayed next to their name: Detective, In Need, Mechanic, King, Prisoner, Zombie Slayer, and Rapper.
Gamers can participate in many activities in this mode, such as buying properties, customizing in-game outfits, forming a gang, and racing across the map. They can also roleplay as cops to arrest other players and put them in jail for 10 minutes.
Fortnite The Hood gives a lot of free XP to help level up your Battle Pass. For instance, buying any item and eliminating any player or NPC grants you some XP. Moreover, every 30 minutes, players are rewarded with $3,000 cash and XP as well.
How to make money on Fortnite The Hood map
There are various ways of making money in this game mode. Two of the primary ones are eliminating other players or owning a business. The map also offers 20 in-game dollars per minute by default to everyone. Owning properties significantly increases the money you generate every minute. Moreover, some of the minigames that can be played to make a few extra bucks are:
- Drift Zone - Buy a car and complete the drifting track.
- Treasure hunt - Find all the hiding coins on the map. The reward ranges from $20 to $50.
- Zombie Arena - Eliminate zombies to gain free money and XP. The stronger the zombie, the higher the reward. It is an endless minigame so make sure to run away far from the arena once you are done or the zombies will follow you everywhere.
