Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is their playground for players with good aim, and they are the apex predators on the prowl. Despite having SMGs and shotguns in the loot pool, the meta primarily revolves around precision-based weapons.
Those blessed with the ability and skill to land shots directly on target will be well rewarded this season. While this is a general norm, this time around, players are bountifully rewarded for having good aim.
God-like aim is the name of the game in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1

For starters, some of the best and hardest-hitting weapons require good aim to use. DMR and Red-Eye AR are prime examples. Players can easily take down their opponents with a few accurate shots.
When aiming down sight and landing shots, they deal 45 and 32 damage, respectively. If a player manages to land headshots, the opponent will be down and out before they can retaliate. In intense fights or squad matches in Fortnite, taking out an enemy teammate is vital to success.
Thinning out the squad makes it easier for the player's team to attack and wipe the opposing squad out successfully. Since both weapons have a reasonable rate of fire backed by a decent magazine size, they can be used in sustained combat.
Most players who prefer to engage opponents in mid-to-long-range fights often carry a DMR and a Red-Eye AR. The strategy is straightforward but extremely effective. The DMR is used to push opponents or pin them down in combat from long-range before moving in closer while using the Red-Eye AR.
Smart opponents will, of course, try to escape using a Shockwave Hammer or a Launch Pad. However, this will not be a problem for players with good aim as they can shoot them out of the sky easily.
While DMR and Red-Eye AR are amazing weapons in Chapter 4 Season 1, they aren't the only deadly weapons. Bows were brought back to enhance the 'Medieval' theme of the season, and the dreaded Ex-Caliber Rifle was added to the loot pool.
Bows feature some of the fastest projectiles in-game. From the moment the arrow is let loose to the time it makes contact, the opponent will not know what hit them. If this sounds bad, the Ex-Caliber Rifle is even deadlier. The projectiles embed themselves into opponents or on the ground where they land.
Even if the enemy manages to dodge the projectile outright, the AOE will still inflict damage. Although it has a slow fire rate, considering it can damage an entire squad at once, it compensates well enough for itself.
How do I improve my aim in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?
While a lot of tutorials may suggest changing the input sensitivity of the gaming device, it's a bit more complicated than that. The key is understanding each weapon and how it functions in-game and adjusting sensitivity accordingly.
For some, higher sensitivity might be better, while setting it lower will provide a better gameplay experience for others. There is no "one-size-fits-all" in this scenario. That said, understanding the recoil patterns is also essential.
While some may suggest that DMR and Red-Eye AR have no recoil while used in ADS mode, that's not true. Any weapon that's fired enough will display a recoil pattern. Only certain weapons, such as Bows, Rocket Launcher, and Ex-Caliber Rifle, have no recoil.
On that note, practice is the only sure way to improve your aim. There is no shortcut to earning this skill or ability. Although it may take a long time to develop this complex hand-eye coordination, it's not impossible to achieve.
