A live in-game concert featuring Kid Laroi will be hosted in Fortnite in late January this year. According to sources from Insider Gaming, it will either be held on January 24 or 25. Taking into account that Chapter 4 Season 1 is entering the 'mid-season' phase, it makes plenty of sense to conduct an in-game activity to bring more traffic in.
For those unaware, Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, better known as Kid Laroi, is an Australian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He rose to fame and gained recognition from his association with the late American rapper Juice WRLD. This will be his first time performing in the Metaverse. With that said, here's everything to know about the upcoming live in-game concert.
Fortnite x The Kid LAROI: In-game live concert time and date, rewards, and more
In-game concert time and date
According to sources familiar with the facts, the in-game concert is scheduled to occur on either January 24 or 25. Since Epic Games focuses on hosting events convenient to players in the Eastern Time zone, it can be presumed that the live in-game concert will likely begin at around 4:00 pm ET.

This is the same time at which the Chapter 3 Season 4 Fracture live event was held on December 3, 2022. Since this time frame is suitable for most users, the Fortnite x The Kid LAROI in-game concert will likely commence in a similar fashion.
That said, much like other in-game concerts from the past such as Rift Tour ft. Ariana Grande, the Fortnite x The Kid LAROI in-game concert will most likely have repeat timings. This should enable players from around the world to catch the in-game concert at a time suitable for them. However, there's no official confirmation from Riot Games about this yet.
How to participate
For those interested in experiencing the in-game concert firsthand, they will have to queue up for the event's playlist when it goes live. Epic Games will release the details on their blog a few days/hours before the collaboration occurs. The information will also be relayed in-game to make things more streamlined.
According to sources, the music featured in the in-game concert will be playable for a month after the concert has ended. That said, it's unlikely that the concert will run for more than a few days, perhaps a week at most.
Cosmetics and rewards
Moving on, there are no details about the potential cosmetics that will feature alongside the in-game concert. Given that there are roughly 18 days until "zero hour," leakers should be able to showcase cosmetics when the v23.20 update officially goes live.
Will The Kid LAROI be getting his own Fortnite Icon Series skin? Well, given that other artists have indeed been added to the game as Icon Series skins, something similar may happen with The Kid LAROI as well. However, until cosmetics are showcased during the update's downtime, this is best left to speculation.
Besides cosmetics, players will likely be able to claim some freebies as well by either attending the live event or by being active in-game itself. More information on the same should become available in the coming two weeks. For now, that's everything you need to know about the Fortnite x The Kid LAROI collaboration.
