The much-awaited The Kid LAROI live event in Fortnite was announced yesterday by Epic Games and the artist. The event was revealed in the form of a teaser which looked like a mind trip and took promised players an experience into The Kid LAROI's mind.

Fortnite has a rich history of collaborating with popular artists through an in-game event. It started with Marshmello in Chapter 1, and then slowly, the publisher kept raising the bar for these events. Travis Scott's Astronomical and Ariana Grande's Rift Tour in Chapter 2 were some of the massive highlights.
However, in Chapter 3, Epic shifted to Creative mode instead of the main island and Party Royale game modes due to long matchmaking queues and limited event viewing.

By making this move, the events became more immersive, granted more XP to players, and introduced quests that players can complete during an experience.
The upcoming The Kid LAROI event will take place in Creative game mode and is called the Wild Dreams experience. The following are more details about the upcoming live event in Chapter 4 Season 1.
The Kid LAROI's Wild Dreams Live Event announced in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
Yesterday, Epic Games officially announced their collab with Australian rapper The Kid LAROI (from the "Stay ft. Justin Bieber" fame) in the form of an upcoming experience called Wild Dreams. The event will take place in a Creative Island (Code: 2601-0606-9081) created by Alliance Studios, Team Atomic, and TheBoyDilly, and the island goes live this Friday.
Players can jump into the experience for a limited time, starting from January 27 at 6:00 pm ET to April 27 at 6:00 pm ET, which means they can attend the experience at any point in between.
In addition to the Fortnite concert, a special event called The Kid LAROI's Wild Dreams Afterparty will also take place in another Creative Island (Code: 4294-0410-6136).
However, before the live event, players today can compete for The Kid LAROI cup in Fortnite, where they stand a chance to win two outfits - The Kid LAROI and The Rogue LAROI along with back blings attached to each of the cosmetic skins. The outfits and several collaboration cosmetics will be available in the Item Shop for purchase on January 26.
Players can also get free cosmetics by completing special Fortnite quests in both Creative experiences. Upon completing the quests, players will also get some extra XP that can help them level up across their Battle Pass quicker. However, the following items will be granted to players upon completion of these quests:
- Love Again and Thousand Miles Lobby Tracks
- The LAROI & The Rogue Loading Screen
- The LAROI Was Here and LAROI’s Tag Sprays
Players also stand a chance to win a Special Banner Icon and an Emoticon by scoring at least eight points in The Kid LAROI's Cup today. The event will feature a brand new song by the artist alongside an exclusive music video directed by Adrien Wagner and produced by La Pac.
As excitement runs high amongst the community, the teaser so far has received positive responses from players as the first major Fortnite event of Chapter 4 kicks off this week.
