Fortnitemares 2024 is arriving soon, and the community is beyond excited. This yearly Halloween event features many new collaborations and map changes to make the game as spooky as can be. Since the release of the event's first teaser, fans have been actively digging for any information they could find.

One of the most popular Fortnite news and information providers, @HYPEX took to X to share the official full gameplay trailer of Fortnitemares 2024 for PlayStation. It was likely uploaded early by error and then immediately taken down. However, that was enough for various fans and pages to download and share it all over social media.

A lot is going on in the trailer. It starts with an unknown wolf-themed skin howling, which is most likely to not be a collaboration skin. New Halloween theme collaborations are coming to the game:

A new Chainsaw Mythic weapon is getting added. It looks like a slow but very high-damage melee weapon that can also be used to travel faster. The Chainsaw is most likely a reference to Leatherman from the popular film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

No Fortnite Halloween event is complete without the fan-favorite Pumpkin Launcher. The trailer showcases various weapons and mobility options returning to the game.

The Fortnite x SAW collaboration seems to have not only an in-game skin but also various features like a proximity explosive, Landmark, and secret quests. The collaboration is also likely to get its own LTM during the Fortnitemares 2024 event.

Throughout the trailer, we can see several Halloween-themed spinoff skins that would likely be released as Halloween Bundles. One of the more interesting ones you would find is the spooky version of the adorable Guff Outfit.

The post-credit scene has now officially confirmed that a new Venom skin collaboration is coming during the Fortnitemares 2024 event. It is likely to be released for the promotion of the upcoming Marvel movie Venom: The Last Dance.

When will Fortnitemares 2024 event arrive in the game?

The event was originally planned to be released on October 11, 8 PM Eastern Time. However, due to technical difficulties, Epic Games officially announced that the Fortnite v31.40 update has been delayed and will be available on October 12, 2 AM Eastern Time.
