However, the introduction of these new items seems to be a double-edged sword, leading to frustration for many players.

This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/ChewLee06, where the user showcased a screenshot of a player's inventory from a Chapter 5 Season 3 match where all they had in their inventory was the Nitro Fists and the Magneto Gauntlets Mythic. The player also had plenty of Med-Kits and a can of Flowberry Fizz, potentially to help them out during endgame scenarios.

The player expressed their frustration at the fact that so many players resort to this meta in the latest season. Meanwhile, Reddit user u/whateverizclever highlighted how they would have liked an OG mode to be added to Chapter 5 Season 3 rather than Fortnite Reload purely to have the ability to play without such items. From the Reddit post and the comments under it, it seems clear that many players have issues with the presence of overpowered items in Chapter 5 Season 3, especially the Magneto Gauntlets Mythic. This has led some to wonder when they will see these powerful gloves exit the game.

While this is not confirmed, the Magneto Gauntlets Mythic will likely be removed from the game after Chapter 5 Season 3 ends and Chapter 5 Season 4 begins on August 16, 2024.
