The Hop Drop Low Gravity Effect in Fortnite endows players with a powerful ability. Once consumed, you'll be able to jump higher and also gain five health points in the process. This can come in handy when wanting to jump from extreme heights to outrun opponents or escape The Storm.

With so many POIs now floating on the island, it's no surprise that the item was unvaulted for Fortnitemares 2022. What's more interesting is that the developers are offering 15,000 XP for players to acquire the Hop Drop Low Gravity Effect in Fortnite and jump three times.

A step-by-step guide to finding and using the Hop Drop Low Gravity Effect in Fortnite

1) Land at the crossroads between Titled Towers POI and Research Lab Minotaur landmark

There are two ways to acquire the Hop Drop Low Gravity Effect in Fortnite. The first method involves finding Jack-o'-lanterns and breaking them open to find candy within. The only issue with this method is that there's no telling what sort of candy you end up finding.

A more concrete method of obtaining Hop Drops is by interacting with an NPC called Curdle Scream Leader. She can be found wandering near the crossroads east of Tilted Towers or in and around the Research Lab Minotaur landmark. The structure is located on the island just north of The Devoured landmark.

2) Look for the NPC known as Curdle Scream Leader and interact with her

Once on the ground, you need to find and interact with the Curdle Team Leader NPC. Since the area has little to no foliage, spotting her shouldn't be too difficult. That said, since it's open ground, it's best not to loiter in the area.

To save time and make things safer, you can glide above the area to spot her. This will make it easier to land and talk to her without wasting time and effort. Once she's been located, walk up to her and interact with her.

As with all other NPCs on the item, the Curdle Team Leader also sells multiple items: Pumpkin Launcher (Epic) for 600 gold, Pepper Mint and Hot Drop for 100 gold each. To start the challenge, you should buy at least three Hot Drops.

In total, it will cost you 300 gold bars. While this may seem like a lot, you can recuperate the cost by searching Safes. That said, it's best to rotate out of the area to avoid being attacked by other opponents.

4) Jump while you have the Hop Drop Low Gravity Effect

Before rotating, you should use the Hop Drop Low Gravity Effect in Fortnite to get a jump boost. This can be done by selecting the item from the inventory and consuming it.

Since the challenge involves jumping three times, it can be completed while rotating. Upon jumping for the third time, the challenge should be completed and 15,000 XP will be awarded. Keep the other two Hop Drops in reserve to use when needed.
