Running into "sweats" in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is not an uncommon occurrence. Most can be identified by their outfits as they follow the trend of wearing slim skins such as Aura, Crystal, and Recon Expert.
What defines a sweat is their willingness to go the extra mile to hunt down an opponent. This includes chasing them halfway across the island, shooting at them relentlessly, and building 20-foot-tall structures while approaching them in combat.
However, to some, this is just a showcase of skill and nothing else. Now, one thing is for certain, avoiding sweaty players in Fortnite is the best thing to do. That said, here are a few tips on how to avoid them in-game.

Give tips to avoid and escape the menacing clutches of Sweaty players in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
1) Camp in the bushes
While camping in the bushes is not the best idea when chased by a sweat, it is a good alternative to being shot in the back. When chased, players can slide into one of the many bushes located across the map to hide from their sight.
When combined with the Bush Warrior Augment in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, players can regenerate health and partial shields while inside large foliage. However, given how persistent a sweaty player can be, it's best to use the bush to hide for a few seconds and rotate when the coast is clear.
2) Use Trail Trashers to make a quick getaway
One of the best ways to avoid "sweats'' in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is to stay mobile. Constantly moving around will make it tough for sweaty players to find a proper angle from which to attack. The best way to do this is by moving around on a Trail Thrasher (dirt bike).
However, since Trail Thrashers consume gas, players will have to ensure the vehicle does not run out of it. Thus, it's best to quickly find a gas can and keep it in the inventory. Be warned, Trail Trashers offer no protection. Players will have to execute evasive maneuvers to avoid being shot.
3) Try to lead them into another team
Most sweats enjoy the thrill of a fight and love competition. If a sweat refuses to back down from a fight and gives chase, try leading them into another group of opponents.
If the timing is right, they'll disengage and attack them for the thrill of combat. If players are lucky, the sweat may get eliminated in the ensuing gunfight. Players can use this confusion to rotate out of the area and get to safety. However, be warned that heading into a group of opponents also has its own risks.
4) Use Firefly Jars and Impulse Grenades to push back an attack
Firefly Jars are great for destroying wooden structures and function as a strong deterrent for would-be attackers. If charged by a sweat, players can use Firefly Jars to create a wall of fire between them and their opponents. This will buy them some time to get away.
Alternatively, Impulse Grenades can also be used for similar effects. Players can lob them at the enemy to push them back. However, since the push-back radius is limited, sticking to fire is a better option in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
5) Stay away from players using "sweaty" skins
Lastly, one of the best ways to avoid sweats in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is by not engaging opponents with sweaty skins. Certain skins like Aura and Crystal are a clear sign that the player is a sweat. Even if they aren't, it's best to avoid taking any chances.
Avoiding them at all costs is for the best. Players can spot them from a distance using the DMR. Depending on where the next Storm Circle forms, players can accordingly move out of their opponent's rotational path and steer clear of them altogether.
