Activated Balloons in LEGO Fortnite are the latest addition to the game's long list of toys and mechanical accessories, introduced as part of the v30.40 update which also brought the Battle Bus station. This unique toy part allows you to customize your vehicles and have more control over Balloons and how you deploy them in your vehicle.

Here's how to craft Activated Balloons in LEGO Fortnite.

You can craft Activated Balloons in LEGO Fortnite after unlocking the recipe in your Codex. You can unlock the recipe by building a Torch, Silk Fabric, and Cord if you have not already. Once unlocked, you will require these resources to complete the build:

2 Silk Fabric
1 Torch
1 Cord

You can craft Silk Fabric by refining five Silk Thread in the Loom while you can craft Cord by refining five Vines in the Spinning wheel. The Torch is one of the most basic resources you can craft from the Crafting Bench.

After collecting these resources, head to the Build Menu and go to the 'Toys' section. Under the 'Toys' section, select the Activated Balloons and craft them. Remember, you can place Activated Balloons only on Dynamic Foundations, Dynamic Boxes, and Vehicle Bases. You cannot place these Balloons on the ground or any structure.

You can use the Activated Balloons to craft unique vehicles or builds and go out on long expeditions or use the Battle Bus station if you want to fastrack it.

The Activated Balloon is essentially a Balloon that you can control to inflate and deflate as per your requirements. This is a huge leap over regular Balloons which could not be regulated. Place the Activated Balloon on a Dynamic Foundation or a vehicle and use switches or channels to control it. Build unique vehicles with this new toy and explore the host of biomes in LEGO Fortnite with ease.

The Activated Balloon can be routed to specific channels on your vehicle using a wrench. You can use the all-new Pressure Plates or the Trigger Plate to toggle the Activated Balloons as well. This allows you to use the vehicle-controlled channels to regulate the Balloons when needed, as seen in the Offroad Flyer in LEGO Fortnite.
