How to defeat the beast in The Kid LAROI's Wild Dreams in Fortnite

The Kid Laroi event dropped in Fortnite earlier today, and players finally have a chance to experience the artist on a stunning Creative island made by Alliance Studios and Team Atomic. They took loopers on a futuristic journey across several worlds within the live event as they completed several quests and danced their way to the artist's hit songs.

Alongside the concert, a special set of quests were released that rewards players with up to 10,000 XP each and free prizes that they can claim as soon as they finish. One of the major highlights is where players can team up to escape a hound-like beast in a futuristic city, ultimately collectively defeating it using a new weapon.

During this stage, players are armed with a Sunburst Gauntlet that shoots blue rays like the Kymera Gun, while inflicting a minimal 27 damage to the beast. While defeating it is quite a challenging task, here's a guide to help you complete it in Fortnite Chapter 4.

The most challenging quest in The Kid Laroi's Wild Dreams is defeating the giant beast that players escaped in the earlier stages of the event. This comes right before the end as they need to team up and fight the hound, while the artist sings his latest single, Love Again.

To complete the quest in Fortnite Chapter 4, follow these steps:

1) Open Island Code Tab in Game Mode and Head to The Kid LAROI's Wild Dreams Creative Island

To head to The Kid LAROI's Wild Dreams Creative island, open the Island Code tab from the game mode menu. Enter the following: 2601-0606-9081 in the bar displayed on your screen and press Enter. The event island will pop up where you need to click Play to head to the main creative map.

2) Traverse through the live event's island and reach the stage where you need to fight the beast

As soon as you drop into the creative island, the concert will begin. You need to move across several areas and make your way through a futuristic city while being chased by a beast. Keep traversing across the map and follow the waypoints, which should take about six minutes of your time.

Once you cross those areas, you will enter an arena where you will be asked to fight the beast while being armed with a Sunburst Gauntlet.

3) Avoid the demon-head bombs and keep shooting at the beast

When you are firing your weapon at the beast, it will launch several demon heads that act as fire explosives. You can either fire to explode them or dodge them before they directly hit you. Upon explosion, these heads can inflict 50 health damage. So, it is advisable to shoot them before they land on the ground.

4) Shoot the fire wolves and keep damaging the beast

While you continue to damage the beast, it will also shoot out fire wolves around the arena that will chase you and other players to cause damage. They can inflict around 30 damage to your health, however, you can shoot and eliminate them before they get close to you.

While fighting the beast, in case you take too many hits from the fire explosives, you will ultimately get knocked down to the ground. However, all you need to do in that scenario is wait for a couple of seconds for the auto-revive sequence to initiate, which will quickly get you back on your feet with a 100 health bar.

6) Keep shooting at the beast and wait for it to be eliminated

Now all you need to do is keep firing at the beast and avoid any further hits. A viable strategy is to keep jumping around while you shoot at the hound to protect yourself from ground explosives. As you continue to fire, the beast will automatically get defeated and disappear after a short while.

However, wait for it to completely disappear. Shortly after, a progress bar will pop up on your screen notifying you about the quest completion. You will also be granted with 10,000 XP in Fortnite instantly as soon as you complete it.
