The character was officially revealed during the trailer for Chapter 5 Season 3 and became an instant hit. While some claim Drakon Steel Rider resembles Octane from Apex Legends, others argue Epic Games created him keeping the Mad Max theme in mind.

Regardless, the character is now part of the ever-growing Metaverse. As of writing, he does not have any lore but comes with a LEGO Outfit. You can use him while exploring new LEGO Fortnite seeds. Drakon Steel Rider is also a ranked Outfit, meaning you can unlock new Selectable Styles as you gain ranks in-game.

As of today (June 17, 2024), the Drakon Steel Rider skin is listed in the Fortnite Item Shop, alongside other cosmetics specific to the characters and associated with the Scarlet Champion Set.

The set comprises these three cosmetic items:

Drakon Steel Rider (Outfit + Selectable Styles)
Drakon Steel Rider (LEGO Outfit)
Scrap Slicer (Pickaxe)
