The free rewards in the Fortnite Community Goal Event have the fans excited. Chapter 5 Season 4 has been full of interesting content and collaborations, and this event would probably unite players more than ever. Starting September 17, 2024, players get the chance to unlock free cosmetic items if they work together.

How to participate in the Fortnite Community Goal Event?

In this new event, players are supposed to team up to complete shared objectives, To take part, they must visit the Community Event section of the official Epic Games website for registry.

Once signed in, players can start making their contribution by surviving Storm Circles in Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Competitive game modes. The more the players contribute, the better rewards everyone gets, making it a highly interactive Fortnite event. Note that some free rewards in the Fortnite Community Goal Event are based on individual performance.

Surviving each Storm Circle grants the players a Badge. The more storms are survived, the more badges are collected.

Ghost Ri-Durrr banner icon: Sign up for the Community Goal event
Meow! spray: Collect 6 Badges - Survive 18 Storm Circles
Star Show wrap: Collect 11 Badges - Survive 33 Storm Circles

Here are all the free community rewards and how to unlock them:

Meowtooth banner icon: 9,000,000 Storm Circles survived together
Condiment Wrath spray: 18,000,000 Storm Circles survived together
Sweet Dango back bling: 27,000,000 Storm Circles survived together

When will the Fortnite Community Goal Event end?

The Fortnite Community Goal Event will end on September 22, 2024, at 12 am Eastern Time, during Chapter 5 Season 4. The chances of these rewards being added to the Fortnite Item Shop in the future are unlikely.

What happens if players fail to finish the Fortnite Community Goal?

If the players aren't able to survive 27 million Storm Circles together, no one will be rewarded all three community rewards. There won't be any alternative ways to unlock the free rewards in the Fortnite Community Goal Event.
