Two Giannis Antetokounmpo Fortnite skins available in Item Shop
Epic Games has collaborated with the NBA several times, adding numerous basketball skins to the popular battle royale game. While players have had a chance to purchase customizable NBA skins, Epic has also added several basketball stars to the game.
Last year, LeBron James made his way to the Fortnite island with plenty of accessories and styles. This time around, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been introduced in several different styles.
Antetokounmpo was born and raised in Greece, with his parents originally from Nigeria. The two skins available in Fortnite Battle Royale represent both of these countries. Here is how you can get them:
1) Launch the game and open the Item Shop
To obtain one or more Giannis Antetokounmpo cosmetic items, you will need to open the Item Shop. Unfortunately, this means that you can only obtain the basketball player by spending V-Bucks.
At the top of the shop, you will see his bundles, which carry discounts if you're looking to purchase multiple cosmetics.
2) Choose the item you want to purchase
If you're not a fan of bundles and want to purchase only one cosmetic item, you can do so by scrolling through the Item Shop. The second section of the shop has all the items that you can purchase separately.
To obtain the Giannis Antetokounmpo Fortnite skin, simply select the variant that you want and open it.
3) Hold the purchase button to complete the purchase
Once you open the cosmetic item, you will be able to preview its styles, as shown in the screenshot above. Each skin has several styles, so make sure to preview them first before confirming your purchase.
If you are happy with the skin, simply hold down the Purchase button and it will be added to your locker. The variant inspired by Nigeria costs 2,000 V-Bucks, while the Hoplite variant, inspired by Greek soldiers, costs 1,500 V-Bucks.
You can get a refund for a Fortnite cosmetic item within 24 hours through the Item Shop if you haven't used it. Additionally, you may use one of your lifetime refund tickets to get a refund within 30 days of purchase.
