You must equip your character with three Epic charms to get max armor and health in LEGO Fortnite. It does not matter what variety of charm you put on your character as long as it is of Epic rarity.

Each Epic charm will add five points to your health. Having three Epic charms will effectively push your health to 18 hearts. You can also consume Grilled Meat and other food items to get a temporary health boost.
