Mecha Team Leader skin in Fortnite was added to the game in Chapter 1 Season 9 with update v9.40 on July 19, 2019. The character is larger than life in a true sense as a giant version of it went head-to-head against The Devourer. It was piloted by The Paradigm, who has long since vanished from the timeline. While her part in the storyline is over, Mecha Team Leader still stands strong and steadfast.

The character stands as a symbol of good triumphing over evil and is also a very cool in-game cosmetic. With Epic Games giving Mecha Team Leader their own LEGO Outfit, you can use them while exploring new LEGO Fortnite seeds. Suffice it to say that the LEGO version of the character is absolutely adorable.

As of today (June 29, 2024), the Mecha Team Leader skin is listed in the Fortnite Item Shop, alongside other cosmetics specific to the character and associated with the Final Showdown Set.

The set comprises these five cosmetic items:

Mecha Team Leader (Outfit + Selectable Styles + Built-In)
Mecha Team Leader (LEGO Outfit + Selectable Styles)
Turbocharged (Emote + Built-In)
Jet Set (Back Bling + Selectable Styles)
Combo Cleavers (Pickaxe)

Those interested in obtaining all the cosmetics and items associated with Mecha Team Leader can purchase them at a discounted price of 1,600 V-Bucks.

There is the Mecha Team Leader Bundle as well, but for reasons unknown, it is not listed in the Fortnite Item Shop. It contains more cosmetics associated with the character. That said, you will have to purchase Combo Cleavers (Pickaxe) separately for 800 V-Bucks.
