The Rapscallion and Scoundrel skin in Fortnite was first added in Chapter 1 Season 4 with the v4.30 update on June 3, 2018. When it comes to OG characters in the Metaverse, this mischief duo are rather popular. Rapscallion has even been featured on the island as an NPC in the past. Although none of them really have much to do with the main storyline, they have stolen quite a bit of stuff behind the scenes.

Given their expertise as criminals, they could be associated with Midas in a way. Epic Games hasn't really said much about their origin story, so everything is open to interpretation for the time being.

On a lighter note, Rapscallion and Scoundrel have LEGO Outfits. You can use them while exploring new LEGO Fortnite seeds. Who knows, you may even find something worth pickpocketing while traveling across new worlds.

How to get the Rapscallion and Scoundrel skin in Fortnite Item Shop: Price, availability, and other details

As of today (June 18, 2024), the Rapscallion and Scoundrel skin is listed in the Fortnite Item Shop, alongside other cosmetics specific to the characters and associated with the Jailbird Set.

The set comprises these nine cosmetic items:

Rapscallion (Outfit + Selectable Styles)
Rapscallion (LEGO Outfit)
Burgle Bag (Back Bling)
Scoundrel (Outfit + Selectable Styles)
Scoundrel (LEGO Outfit)
Strongbox (Back Bling)
Personal Pollinators (Back Bling + Reactive)
Nite Owl (Pickaxe)
Starry Flight (Glider)

Those interested in obtaining all the cosmetics and items that are part of the Fortnite Jailbird Bundle can purchase them at a discounted price of 2,500 V-Bucks. Note that the total price for all cosmetics purchased separately is 5,000 V-Bucks.

You can also purchase the Rapscallion and Scoundrel skin in Fortnite separately. Rapscallion (Outfit + Selectable Styles) will cost 1,500 V-Bucks and is paired with Rapscallion (LEGO Outfit) and Burgle Bag (Back Bling). Scoundrel (Outfit + Selectable Styles) will cost 1,500 V-Bucks and is paired with Scoundrel (LEGO Outfit) and Strongbox (Back Bling).

Nite Owl (Pickaxe) and Starry Flight (Glider) can also be purchased individually for 800 V-Bucks each. Personal Pollinators (Back Bling + Reactive) cannot be purchased individually.

The Rapscallion and Scoundrel skin in Fortnite will remain listed in the Item Shop until June 19, 2024, at 8 PM Eastern Time. These cosmetics are not exclusive and will be listed again.
