Sandstone is a resource that you cannot collect in LEGO Fortnite. You have to craft it using a Stone Breaker and use two ingredients - Sand and Granite. Deposit the ingredients in a 1:1 ratio in a Stone Breaker to get one Sandstone.

Sandstone is an essential resource used for crafting and building. It cannot be mined or collected and has to be refined using a Stone Breaker that can be crafted via the build menu. You can use the Sandstone to make a host of new buildings like the Mos Eisley Building given in the LEGO Pass.

You can easily collect Sand by visiting a dry or desert biome on your map. These are characterized by the orange zone and are visually distinct by the presence of rocky outcrops, sand, and a clear lack of greenery. The desert biome is also a great place to get rare resources like the Sand Claw and Sand Shells.

Once you reach the dry or desert zone, use your shovel to dig into the ground, after which, you'll be rewarded with Sand that you can store in your inventory and use to make Sandstone in LEGO Fortnite.

In case you do not have a shovel, here's how to make one:

  • 3 Wooden Rods
  • 1 Wooden Plank

  • Common Pickaxe: 5 Wood
  • Uncommon Pickaxe: 3 Knotroot Rods 3 Bone
  • Rare Pickaxe: 3 Flexwood Rods 3 Sand Claws
