Fortnite is giving away another free skin, the Chrome Punk. The Chapter 3 Season 4 cosmetic is themed for both Fortnitemares and this season in particular since it's based on the Chrome. Not only is it a great skin that is totally free, it doesn't even require a Battle Pass subscription.
While it does have a few stipulations, it is not a difficult skin to obtain overall. It is available now, though most players will not unlock it right away. Here's how they can eventually get their hands on it.

There are three challenges for the Chrome Punk cosmetics in Fortnite, each of which rewards one cosmetic, with the final one offering the skin. They are as follows:
- Earn 10 Account Levels
- Earn 25 Account Levels
- Earn 50 Account Levels
Account levels simply mean leveling up the Battle Pass. It's not directly referred to as that because this particular set of challenges will extend beyond this current season.
The tasks are available until January 1, so Fortnite players have the rest of the year to earn 50 levels. Here are a few ways to accomplish the feat:
Method 1: Daily challenges
Daily challenges don't seem like they offer a lot in terms of rewards, but three of them do. Each day, gamers have the opportunity to complete three daily taks that offer an additional XP amount.
They're only worth 1,000 XP, but the first three offer 15,000 XP for completing them. So, they can be helpful even if there are only three of them.
Method 2: Weekly challenges
Weekly challenges always offer the best way to level up in Fortnite. That is still true this season as the amount of XP has been increased from 15,000 to 20,000.
Each week, seven or so new challenges are offered for a total of about 140,000 XP. Completing these will help players get to 50 account levels in no time.
Method 3: Milestones
Milestones are another good way to earn XP. They are almost always completed by doing normal activities, like thanking the bus driver, harvesting materials or dealing damage.
Method 4: Save the World
The Save the World mode, if you have it, is an excellent way to earn a lot of XP. There are challenges in it that give XP directly to the Battle Royale category. Despite not being a part of it, many players find it to be the best way to level up each season.
Here are the XP totals for each type of challenge this season:
- Daily - 1,000 XP
- Daily Bonus Goal - 15,000 XP
- Weekly - 20,000 XP
- Weekly Bonus Goals - 50,000 XP
- Milestone - 6,000 XP
- Milestone Bonus Goals - 20,000 XP
- Narrative Quests - 32,000 XP
- Kickstarter Quests - 35,000 XP
- Bytes Quests - 30,000 XP
Additionally, XP glitches and Fortnite Creative maps with XP surface all the time, but this is a method Epic Games does not prefer. As such, these often get banned quickly.
