Fortnite Reload has been an exciting addition to the already packed Chapter 5 Season 3, with Epic Games bringing an OG experience to the game set within a much faster-paced environment. However, this has also led some players to question whether the Reload mode is a permanent game mode or not, especially since its release was a surprise for many.

Given that the mode was seemingly made within a month, it has led some players to speculate that Fortnite Reload might be an LTM or temporary mode. However, it seems like Reload will be sticking around in the Discover menu for quite some time, with various factors showcasing Epic Games' dedication to this new OG experience.

Despite being announced and released without many prior teasers or hints, the Reload mode has been Epic Games' prime focus ever since its release. On social media channels, the developers have pushed and marketed the game mode to a great extent, including a video featuring popular streamer Kai Cenat. While some of these can just be seen as moves to attract more players to the mode, it seems unlikely that Epic Games would be doing so much for an LTM.

Epic Games has also been making changes to the game mode to make it more functional and efficient, as reflected in the Fortnite Reload Duos patch notes that were recently revealed. With the developers clearly listening to feedback and updating the mode, it seems like they plan on continuing support for Reload down the line.

Additionally, recent leaks have suggested that Epic Games plans on bringing other items like the Junk Rifts and Mechs back to the Reload mode loot pool, alongside OG mythics. This can be seen as yet another sign that the developers have more plans for the Reload mode later in the future, and the mode is likely to continue receiving updates.

While it is not clear where the game mode will head, it seems like Epic Games will continue to lay its groundwork with the gradual introduction of Duos and Trios. It remains to be seen whether Epic Games will make any further changes to Fortnite Reload, such as different maps and locations.
