Is Heavy Shotgun back in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1? Explained

Did Fortnite bring back Heavy Shotgun in latest update?

According to iFireMonkey, the Heavy Shotgun is back as of today. Thanks to the latest update, the classic weapon has returned after a lengthy stint in the vault.

Those wishing for the classic Pump Shotgun to return or for the Tactical Shotgun of old will still be disappointed. Those guns may never come back.

Fortunately, the hybrid version that was extremely popular for a long time has returned. The Heavy Shotgun is now in the playlists for players to pick up.

Where is the Heavy Shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

Since this is not a special weapon, it can be found easily. It's now one of three shotguns that can be collected via loot. This means players can get it from the chest, on the floor, and in the supply drop.

In previous seasons, the Fortnite Heavy Shotgun was only available in high rarities. It's now available all the way from Common to Legendary and could be upgraded at an Upgrade Bench, too.
