Starting February 4, 2025, terms such as AFK, XP, Coin farm, Coin slide, and images of Fortnite coins will no longer be showcased or allowed to be used in Creative. Epic Games posted on their official X account, stating that any misleading content will result in "escalating penalties." This is what they had to say:
"Coins and terms like “AFK” and “XP” are being used in island thumbnails, titles, and other metadata to mislead players into believing that they can earn or unlock an impossibly high amount of XP. Spoilers, they don’t."
Considering XP maps have attracted a lot of attention within the community over the years, this move will ensure that Creators cannot "bait" users into believing their maps provide more XP than others. Here is more information on the topic.

Creative changes within the Fortnite Creator ecosystem will be implemented to minimize XP baiting
Any image that contains the aforementioned words, such as “AFK” and “XP” and/or suggestive material pertaining to the same will be removed. This is being done to help players make a more informative choice while selecting Islands to try out in Creative. Images and thumbnails as well as Island names that contain the same will be removed. Epic Games also said:
"We will be removing this content from our ecosystem and creators will receive escalating penalties – including impacts to monetization, island removal, and account suspension."
Based on the official post, Creators who fail to make the changes will be penalized. Depending on the severity of the matter, their accounts can also be suspended. Given Fortnite Creative accounted for 36.5% of total user playtime in 2024, and Epic Games paid $352 million to Creators, this move makes a lot of sense.
Ensuring a high standard for Islands and content in Creative is going to be Epic Games' top priority, given the growth observed year after year. We can expect to see more strict rules and regulations implemented over time.
