With the launch of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, Epic Games has changed a lot of things in the game, largely focusing on the vehicular warfare theme of Chapter 5 Season 3. Now, Epic Games has begun releasing hotfixes and smaller updates to further polish the new season. With the latest hotfix, Epic Games has brought back the Boogie Bomb, one of the most controversial items in the game's library.
The Boogie Bomb's reintroduction to the loot pool seems to be Epic Games' way of providing players with a chance to counter cars in Chapter 5 Season 3. When used against an enemy inside a vehicle, Boogie Bombs kick the player out and leave them defenseless.

With the Boogie Bomb now in the game, it will impact the vehicle meta of the season moving forward, especially since the community has been vocal about the divisive nature of vehicle mods and how they impact the gameplay. However, while it is the highlight of the hotfix, the Boogie Bomb is not the only thing added to the game with the update.
Epic Games has also introduced various changes to Chapter 5 Season 3. The modifications largely revolve around vehicles and vehicle mods as well as other items like the Nitro Fists. The full list of changes introduced in the v30.00 update hotfix are listed below:
- Reduced the accuracy of the Machine Gun Turrets Vehicle Mod.
- Reduced the damage to structures from the Grenade Launcher Turret Vehicle Mod.
- Reduced vehicle health in Solo game modes.
- Removed Boss cars' ability to automatically regenerate health.
- Increased damage dealt to vehicles from Boom Bolts.
- Increased the recharge time for Nitro Gauntlets.
- Decreased the shoulder bash damage to players from the Nitro shoulder bash.
As Chapter 5 Season 3 further unfolds, it remains to be seen how these new changes will impact the gameplay and if they will be enough for the community to enjoy the season how it was meant to be played.
