The Player Count feature has been added to Fortnite with the latest update. Epic Games released the v24.10 patch on Wednesday, March 29, adding new content to the game. Considering that the title has numerous modes, the developers have included this fresh feature so that gamers can see how many people play each Creative map. Moreover, Player Count has also been added to the Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
Fortnite's new feature is an experimental one and has been released for only 10% of gamers so far. However, the developers will make it available to all players after it has gone through testing.

Shortly after the v24.10 update was released, Epic Games enabled Fortnite Player Count. This feature can be seen in the Discover tab and includes all game modes.
Interestingly, Battle Royale is still the most popular one in Fortnite. At the time of writing, the mode has 344,629 players online, while 174,950 are enjoying Zero Build. While the latter mode is very popular, it's still nowhere near as prevalent as BR.
Fortnite: Save the World is the least popular game mode. Epic Games has stopped releasing major updates for it due to the fact that not many people play it. It usually sees between 10 and 20 thousand players online, with an all-time peak of 23,350.
The two modes mentioned earlier have much more players, which can be seen in the screenshot above. However, it's important to note that Fortnite Player Count has been out for a short time. Due to this, there isn't enough historical data to conclude how many gamers actively play the title.
Judging by current figures, Fortnite has approximately around one million players at any given time. According to Epic, the Creative mode takes up approximately 40% of the playtime, and fans expect this number to go up with the release of Creative 2.0. Additionally, the video game developer revealed that Fortnite has 70 million monthly active users.
