Fortnite All Sweat Summer is now in full swing. It has brought Epic Games' annual summer event to the game, enabling players to unlock exclusive rewards by completing challenges. However, it seems that the developers have made some changes to the game modes involved in the Fortnite All Sweat Summer to accommodate the challenges and make it easier for players to complete these lucrative quests.

This article will break down all changes that have been implemented in lieu of the Fortnite All Sweat Summer event. With this, you can stay informed and ensure you aren't caught off guard when you jump into a match during this event.

According to information provided by Epic Games, both Ranked Battle Royale and Zero Build modes will be affected by the changes. Given below is a full list of modifications made to the Ranked Battle Royale and Zero Build modes:

  • Vehicles, including Mythic Nitro Cars and vehicle items, such as Vehicle Mods and Vehicle Mod Boxes are disabled.
  • Disabled the ability to hire Non-Playable Characters. However, hostile NPCs and Bosses like Megalo Don (and their Medallions) are still available to acquire.
  • Disabled Nitro Fists.

This is good news for players who are not fans of the vehicle-based meta. They won't have to worry about ways to counter cars in Chapter 5 Season 3 when playing a Ranked match during the Fortnite All Sweat Summer event. Additionally, they will be able to navigate the terrain without worrying about hireable NPCs, an element of the game that has been growing in prominence in Chapter 5 Season 3.

However, it is important to note that these changes are not permanent and have only been implemented for the duration of the Fortnite All Sweat Summer event, which is set to last from July 4, 2024, to July 18, 2024. This means that items like the Nitro Fists and Vehicle Mods will return to the Ranked playlists once the event has wrapped up. Thus, players have a limited time frame to experience Ranked experiences in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 without the madness of vehicles.
