Epic Games reveals the first Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 teaser
Epic Games revealed a very interesting teaser for the upcoming chapter and the live event that will introduce players to it. Just as many players expected, the "Fracture" live event will be chaotic and will cause a lot of mess across the island.
The first Fortnite teaser shows the Chrome tornado taking over the island. Throughout the entire season, the Herald has been spreading the shimmery goo and taking over different locations. This time around, it appears that the tornado will play a massive role.
As you can see in the image above, the upcoming live event will cause a lot of destruction. There is a good chance that Epic Games will destroy the entire island once again.
Furthermore, the promotional image shows Bytes, who is one of the most important characters this season. It appears that he works for the Nothing, which is why it's not surprising that he will play a big role in the event.
The image also shows multiple tornadoes. At the moment, there are only two on the map. One is located right next to the Herald's Sanctum, which makes sense considering that the primary antagonist of the season is located there. The other, however, keeps rotating between different places.
Epic Games has revealed that the new live event will be joinable for 40 minutes. This means that it could be the longest iteration of all time as most Fortnite live events last for 10 to 15 minutes.
Additionally, anyone who logs in between December 2 at 9 AM Eastern Time and December 4, 2:45 AM, will receive the Toasty Roast emote.
The countdown for the event
Epic Games has also released a countdown for the upcoming Fortnite live event. It can be seen both in the lobby and on the island, so make sure to check it to see when the event will start for you.
Once the countdown hits zero, Fracture will begin and you will be able to witness the events that will lead to the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
