The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 end date and time have officially been changed by Epic Games. No explanation has been provided as to why, but the developers must have their reasons. To be fair, the new schedule does not deviate from the original end date and time by a large margin. It's been pushed back by just a few hours, which shouldn't make much difference in the grand scheme of things.
The new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 end date and time is August 15, 2024, at 11 pm Eastern Time. As mentioned, it has been preponed by just a matter of three hours. This is what Epic Games has to say about it:
"Heads up everyone, it's almost time! Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 now ends on August 15th at 11 PM ET, and we’ll go into maintenance for v31.00 shortly after."
There is some pushback from the community, especially those who tend to stay awake to witness the downtime unfold. With the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 end date and time now being preponed, players will have to be present, front and center by 11 pm rather than 2 am. Suffice to say, sleep cycles will be disrupted for many. Nevertheless, there is a tiny silver lining.

Supercharged XP to be offered in light of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 end date and time being changed
Although three hours may not seem like a lot of time, for those still struggling to reach seasonal level 200 in Fortnite, 180 minutes can make a lot of difference.
To compensate players for this inconvenience, Epic Games will make Supercharged XP available to everyone from August 13. It will be enabled at 9 am Eastern Time and will last until the end of the season. This is what Epic Games has to say in this regard:
"To gas through the finish line, all players will have their next three levels of XP Supercharged from August 13th at 9AM ET til the end of the season!"
To make things clear, Supercharged XP will only be active for a total of three levels. You will have from August 13 (9 am Eastern Time) until August 15 (11 am Eastern Time) to claim them.
If you've been playing since the start of this season, you're probably over level 200 by now or close to it. If you're not, you may want to buy the Wastelander Dummy's Level Up Quest Pack (1,200 V-Bucks) to speed things along. It's a bit pricey, but it's better than missing out on exclusive Battle Pass rewards.
Chapter 5 Season 4 onward, this will not be an issue as Battle Pass exclusivity will be a thing of the past.
You can also explore LEGO Fortnite seeds to gain XP; whatever works for you as long as you reach level 200 before the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 end date and time arrives. That being said, with only a handful days left for the season to end, be sure to have fun and take in the "Wrecked" landscape in all its glory.
